Memior Final Draft

Early
Bird Shopping

Every
November around Thanksgiving me and a few other girls go down to the
early bird shopping down to Boothbay Harbor, Maine. We wake up at
5:00AM in the morning and we go shopping in our pajamas . If you
wear your pajamas you get a 50% discount. For the last 2 years I
have brought my friend named Mariah. The bad news last year was she
had broken her foot a couple days before we left, so she had to wear
a big bulgy cast on her foot.

On
the way to Boothbay we talked about a lot of things and asked a lot
of questions like, “are we there yet”? “how much
longer”?. We also liked to talk about what we are going to buy
for presents because everything is on sale. When we got there we
checked into the Flagship Inn and brought our stuff to our room.
After that we went out to eat at the pizza place. We had a really
good time there eating pizza and hanging out with family and friends.

My
aunt Judy lives down to Boothbay, so after pizza we went and saw her
for a little while. Then we went back to the hotel to go to bed
because we had to get up early in the morning.

At
about 4:30 the next morning we woke up. We didn`t need to get
dressed, so we hopped into the car and left. We started at the shoe
place and ended at enchantments, Enchantments. Enchantments is so
cool! they have all kinds of cool things hanging from the ceiling and
off the walls . It is so cool ,but very expensive on some things.
Some other stores we went to were The Hutch, Smiling Cow, Canary, The
Christmas Store, The Pet Store, Life Is Good, Sherman`s, The Corner
Store and Angels Unaware.

After
we are done shopping we usually go have a BIG breakfast at Mr. C`s.
All my family and friends who went shopping with us went including
Mariah ,Gram,Auntie Beth, Aunt Kathy, Aunt Tammy, cousin Hattie,
cousin Hillary, cousin Hannah, Holly, Aunt Judy, and my aunt Judy`s
friend Ramona, she is at least 90 and she acts as if she is 20 ramona
is really fun to hang out with she always puts a smile on your face
even when no one else can she is the best. We sat around a big huge
table filled with love and laughter. We talk about what we bought and
stupid things I life that are happening. I could feel the laughter
and love build up inside of me. Then the silence was broke by may I
take your order, I told her what I wanted then I went back to talking
with friend mariah.

When
we were done breakfast we said our goodbyes and then we headed home
on the way home we showed each other our purchases. We also shared
to each other of how poor we were because cause we spent so much
money down to Boothbay. But it was really fun to spend time with
family and friends!

The End!

Molly Cookson BPW

In my Clothing store I would like to attract customers by selling my goods at a decent price.

In my store I would like to offer incentives like a buy one get one 50% off or buy 2 get 1 free

for the consumer.  I don`t want to have so many sales that my revenue goes down, but i do want

to meet the needs of the consumer. I want to sel
l renewable resources.  If at anytime I have a surplus

I will have a sale to sell what I
need to to keep my shelfs looking neat.  I as the producer want to make my

products a decent price and good quality like not after one wash all the threads will fall out.  I would also

like to offer trade-offs for people who cannot use cash.  I would also like to help people with there

               alternatives
the choices they need to make like what color shirt should I get blue or green?  Then I would

help the customer with his or her criteria which would be there choice after trying on the shirt they choose.

When the customer is ready to check out I will allow currency check or credit card.  At the end of the work

I will need to think of a budget that fits my needs of me and the customer. If at anytime my stock becomes

scarce I will need to use some of my income to buy what i need to keep my business running.  I would love                   to keep my cost of production low so that I can sell a product for less and have more happy customers and
less un-happy customers.  I hope to have. If I happen to have scarcity happen at anytime I would like to
take care of it immediately when it does happen if it ever does. Hopefully I can maintain a good selling                         rhythm so if I do have to enter a law of supply i can try to manage it smoothly not all jaggedly.  Now if I                       do happen to have a law of supply I will try to turn that into a law of demand but keep my supply at the                   right height. On my stocked shelfs I would like to use prototype models to advertise my clothing so people                   can see it out and on someone else so they don`t have to go try on all there clothing they can buy it then if                   they need to  return for any reasons I can except that but if they do want to try it on they can feel free to.
